Atlanta Baby Photographer
One of my favorite things about being an Atlanta baby photographer, is getting to watch my clients grow! I first met sweet William’s family when they came for a family/maternity session. I got to meet this sweet boy when they came back to see me for his newborn session. After his newborn session, William’s mom decided to get my 3 sessions in a year package. There are two things that I value very highly from my clients. Positive word of mouth, and repeat business. William’s family has given me both! I am so fortunate to have such amazing families as party of my Appleseed clientele.
William was a super easy and beautiful baby for his newborn session. He was just as easy and happy for his recent 4 month session. Since William isn’t sitting up unassisted just yet, I decided to try out this adorable wooden bed that I got from one of my favorite prop vendors. As an Atlanta baby photographer, I have collected several props over the years that are perfectly sized for little ones. This bed, just so happened to be perfectly small enough to support William just enough to make it appear that he was sitting up.
Milestone Sessions
Since a 4-6 month old baby doesn’t have as long of an attention span as a 3-7 year old child, milestone sessions for this age are usually pretty short and sweet. It all balances out since the newborn session takes a while, older kid sessions are about an hour. William came to my studio, giggled, smiled, and charmed me, and was on his way home in less than 45 minutes. He was such a little cutie and laughed at me so much. I can’t think of much I love more than a baby laugh! Truly.
Which Package Should I Choose?
I offer a fair amount of flexibility with my Atlanta baby photographer packages. My pricing can be seen here, but I’ll briefly explain the various package options anyways. Right now, all of my packages operate on an “all inclusive” pricing system. What this means, is that when you are paying for your session, you are getting your session fee, my time and talent, and 15-20 edited digital images. I do offer printing services, and use professional labs to print with, but it’s not required that clients print with me.
Maternity + Newborn:
This package simply offers a mini-maternity session, and a newborn session. The session fees, my time, and 15-20 edited images are included from BOTH sessions in the price for this package. This is a great package if you just want to capture your pregnancy, and your newborn baby.
First Year Package I :
This package offers the newborn session, plus 2 milestone sessions at a later date. If you were to book the same sessions in this package separately, it would cost an additional $200. That’s a great savings! There is some flexibility on when you come back for your milestone sessions, but most people tend to pick 6 months and 12 months after the newborn session. Just like with the other package, you get the 3 sessions, each sessions fee, and 15-20 images are included in this price.
First Year Package II:
This package offers the newborn session, plus 3 milestone sessions at a later date. These can be newborn, 4, 8, and 12 months. I even recently had a client ask if she could do newborn, 6, 12, and 18 months, which is fine as well. Again, just like the other 2 packages, this one includes the sessions, session fees, and 15-20 digital images from each session. This package is a savings of $300.
One thing to remember, is that if you do pick a package, FULL package payment is required up front. That’s why you get the amazing savings! Packages aren’t for everyone, but I love my repeat clients, and love planning for them as well.
