Atlanta Twin Photographer
I have met so many adorable sets of twins this year as an Atlanta twin photographer. These sweet sisters were my first set of twin girls. Last year, I got to work with an adorable set of twin brothers, as well as triplets that were boy-boy-girl. At the start of this year, I had some cutie twin brothers come in to see me followed by a second set of twin brothers, and then these two beautiful ladies! Prior to this year, I had only photographed 2 sets of twins. This year, I’ve photographed around 6 or 7 and it has been so much fun for me!
I feel like at the start of this year, I was a little intimidated by twins, and wasn’t quite sure I could handle them alone. At this point, after all the practice I’ve had, I definitely feel equipped to handle twins by myself!
How to Plan for your Twin Newborn Session
Planning for a twin newborn session isn’t all that different from planning for a single baby newborn session. Once you’ve booked me for your session, you let me know once your babies have arrived, and we set the session date for around 2 weeks from their birth. There is more wiggle room with this on twins than with single birth babies, since twins are often born prior to 38 weeks gestation. Should babies arrive before 37 weeks, we may want to make the session further out than 2 weeks.
All of my newborn sessions take place Monday-Friday from 9:30-12:45 pm. Sessions take most of that time. During your session, I take breaks as needed to feed and soothe babies. I have all the props I need in my studio, so you don’t need to bring a thing besides your babies, and food for your babies. I do ask that clients bring a pacifier along, but I keep spares in the studio just in case!
All of my clients are granted access to my extensive prop collection. I am constantly purchasing new items to stay current and up to date!
What happens next?
Atlanta twin photographer session, your babies did amazing…now what? Generally it takes me around 2-3 weeks to fully edit the images from your session, and return them to you. They will be given to you via a downloadable link. I recently started offering printing through one of my favorite pro labs, through this link, so you can purchase your beautiful, professional quality prints, right from the comfort of your own home! Now there really are no excuses not to print your beautiful images!
