Working with all sorts of beautiful babies is one of the great joys of being a newborn photographer Atlanta. Babies are born year round and that means getting to play with a variety of props and outfits.
Colton was a Christmas baby, so a cute little Santa hat and some pine twigs were some easy additions for festive holiday photos. Colton wasn’t in the mood to sleep much, so we got some great wide-eyed newborn photos, too.
What if the baby doesn’t want to sleep?
Everyone wants those adorable photos of a pliable sleeping newborn. As a newborn photographer Atlanta, I love those photos too. But some babies just don’t want to sleep very much, and that’s okay.
I can still get excellent photos that you’ll love just as much even if your newborn is wide awake for the entire session. There is so much we can do to create memorable photos that you’ll treasure, including props, outfits, and poses that can take full advantage of baby’s alertness.
Of course, if you want those sleepy newborn shots, I can give you some tips to help make your newborn a bit more sleepy for our session.
Can we incorporate special events into the photos?
As you can see, Colton was a Christmas baby and we incorporated a few Christmas-themed items to reflect that. Whether you’re looking to incorporate a major holiday, or a special event in your own life such as your anniversary, let me know. We can discuss the details and work together to determine the best way to bring together both your beautiful newborn and the special event.
How far in advance should I schedule my newborn session?
As a newborn photographer Atlanta, my newborn sessions can book up quickly. You don’t want to wait too long, but you also don’t want to schedule too far in advance.
I recommend booking your session about 2-3 months before baby is due. If baby arrives early or late, simply reach out and we’ll reschedule your session.
