It’s such a joy to work with adorable babies like Jackson as a Marietta milestone photographer. Jackson was such a doll to work with and I think he enjoyed his session just as much as I did!
I met Jackson’s mom when I offered sessions for a fundraiser for Gigi’s Playhouse.
Jackson was born with hydrops, as was my son Avett, and was in the NICU for a long time. As you can see here, he’s a very happy boy these days!
What to expect at a milestone session
As a Marietta milestone photographer, creating a stress-free experience for my clients is a top priority for me. I try to keep sessions to about 30-45 minutes. Babies tend to tire out quickly and lose interest in me after that.
I have plenty of clothing options for both boys and girls in a variety of sizes so we’re sure to find the perfect outfit. Of course, you are welcome to bring any special outfits that have sentimental meaning for you or that you really want in the photos.
If baby is well-rested and well-fed, everything should go smoothly. And even if there are a few bumps along the way, I have 4 kids of my own, so rest assured that I can handle it.
When to schedule your milestone session
The window for milestones such as sitting and crawling can be pretty short, so I recommend calling to schedule your Marietta milestone photography session when you notice that baby is getting close to sitting up unassisted.
Once you notice that baby is sitting well without help, we can usually schedule the session within the next 3-6 weeks.
Where do milestone sessions take place?
I offer studio sessions for babies from newborns to 1 year. Once baby is up and walking, though, I like to do sessions in a location that gives baby a little freedom to roam and explore. That not only keeps your little one from getting frustrated and bored but also helps us get the best photos.
I can suggest locations or if you have a favorite place in mind, we can go there.
